We call this the “Bedbox” or “Bäddboks” if you are Swedish.
There is a Swedish historical precedent for building a sleeping platform on your property, which we had no idea about when we named our creation the Bedbox. In the history of Sweden, the Bäddboks was an emergency shelter for a family to use if their straw thatched roof and main house burned to the ground. They would move into the Bäddboks, temporarily, while they built a new house. In our case, the Bedbox is a sleeping platform surrounded by nature. This Bedbox has red luminescent solar concentrating panels which collect solar energy from the sun.
